I added roms for both MAME and Neo Geo into the correct rom folders on my SD card.
When I run the emulator, it dosen't seem to notice that the roms are in the subfolder. I recieve an error message such as "Error: no available games found" (MAME) and on the Neo Geo emulator none of the games show up on the games menu inside the emulator.
All the bios files that I was able to find have been placed in the roms folder (unzipped of course) with the games. I tried putting the bios files into a "Bios" folder but the emulator will not run... Should I put the games in a folder inside the subfolder 'rom'?
My folder paths are as follow: (MAME) SD card:/game/Arcade - MAME/roms (Neo Geo) SD card:/game/Neo Geo/roms
Thats where I have the bios and the roms.

I am currently working on this issue. But, I've found one small piece of info. I had MAME32 version 1.09u4 working on Windows 7 (64 bit). And, all the Neo Geo games worked fine. BUT, when I tried the next day, it failed. But, then, I noticed, the INI file was missing. And, when I put it back, it began working again. I'm referring to the MAME32ui.ini file. It's not in the subfolders. but, instead, it's right near the MAME32 Exe. Okay, so it seems, this is affected by ANTI-virus. The same must be true for the later versions of mame. I haven't gotten a NEO GEO game to work, since MAME32 version 1.20. I'm currently working on this issue, on the voy forums ( voy.com/223838). This issue is too important to leave alone. PS, that's a nice handheld. I'm gonna add that to my Youtube Favs.

slimdim - I just want to make sure that you have the directory structure set up correctly because MAME should definitely recognize the ROM files... As far as the MAME directory goes, do you have it set up as: /mame/roms/rom1.zip /mame/roms/rom2.zip /mame/roms/rom3.zip ... and so on ?? If you have any other subdirectories in the roms folder then I doubt that MAME would find them in there. Also, I assume all ROMs are in a Zip format?

I saved the MAME full set onto my desktop and then placed it into the MAME/rom folder but I don't have any games??? The only games I've been able to get on there are: Mario, Elevator Action, and Asteroids I placed those in there separately as well as others but I've only been able to get those three to show up on the EMU and be able to play. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!

You have to get the right version of the rom to work with mame4all ... so you might need to try a number of sources such as doperoms.com, romnation.net ... or better yet just grab the torrent for the full mame4all rom set and you'll have access to a couple thousand working titles for the Wiz.

I installed tmnt.zip and the emulator opens to find the game but when I try and 'run' the game it say that there are 4 files missing. 963-r23 Not Found 963-r24 " 963-r21 " 963-r22 " I checked the tmnt.zip and the files are not in there. Does anyone know of a website where I can find these files? (Yes, I do keep all of my games zipped and I zipped all of the MAME bios files)

That is very strange - Your directory structure seems fine. I'd keep the Neo Geo BIOS inside the roms folder, and retain it in .zip format (neogeo.zip). As to why MAME is not seeing any of your roms, can you try a few basic ones that are known to work (tmnt.zip or mk.zip etc)? Be sure to keep all roms in .zip format as well... Let me know what you find...
